JEAN
SANDOVAL
Jean Sandoval is an accomplished guitarist, producer, and educator whose 30-plus-year career seamlessly bridges the worlds of gospel, rock, funk, and blues. Originally from Connecticut and now based in Colorado, Jean has become renowned for his soulful tone, melodic restraint, and emotionally charged playing style.
He founded the Sandoval Band, serving as both its creative leader and producer, and has released multiple solo projects, including his sixth and most recent record, Sound of All, Episode Two. This project continues his exploration of music as a form of cross-cultural and humanitarian dialogue, blending driving guitars with themes of unity, love, and respect. The album features collaborations with icons such as guitarist Oz Noy, blues legend “Guitar George” Baker, and vocalist Maya Azucena.
In addition to studio and touring work, Jean has produced and arranged for a wide roster of artists including Jaci Velasquez, Freddy Rodriguez, Rita Springer, and Cosmic Jíbaros. His work as a Creative Pastor at Grace Community Church in Montrose, Colorado, highlights his passion for mentorship and faith-driven creativity, helping nurture new generations of musicians and worship leaders.
Whether performing live, producing in the studio, or leading workshops, Jean Sandoval continues to inspire through his deep musicality, spiritual perspective, and belief that music remains one of the most powerful ways to connect people across boundaries.
